Registration Of Marriage

I was away last weekend to attend my sister’s registration of marriage (ROM), held at Buddhist Maha Vihara in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur. 24th of March to be exact. Well wishes to the newly wed couple!

However, since we are still traditional Chinese, this event is only for legal purposes. Our Chinese tradition states that there should be a few other ceremonies before they can be pronounced as husband and wife. But that is another story for the later part of the year. For now, they are legally married in the eyes of the Law.

And for the uninformed, my sister is a LAWYER.
